Missähän oli kuvaajan järki kun noin toimi? Jos karhu olisi raadellut tai tappanut kuvaajan, niin karhu olisi mitä ilmeisimmin jäljitetty ja ammuttu. Ja poikaset viety jonnekin eläintarhaan tai nekin lopetettu?

On, todellakin, vähän laajemmissakin mittasuhteissa.  Esim. USA: sa jo 25% maissisadosta käytetään etanolin valmistukseen. Ei ihme, että ruuan hinta kallistuu.   

The reason is simple:

Food inflation is real and is not going away anytime soon. How can it? Rising corn prices are driving up everything from the cost of tortillas in Mexico to the cost of producing milk and more here in the U.S.

And it’s all because 25% of the America’s corn crop is now used for the production of ethanol—and not for feeding our citizens.

The chain reaction has resulted in a higher cost for animal feeds that in turn has raised the price on everything—and I mean everything—from meat to eggs to cereals, soft drinks and milk.

My goodness, if you think $4-a-gallon gas is bad, how about $5-a-gallon milk? That’s what Californians are paying.

The situation is only going to get worse nationally and internationally as the U.S. strives to meet its goal of producing 35 billion gallons of ethanol by 2017.

Already there have been food riots in Mexico, Yemen, Haiti and Egypt, and other parts of Africa…

…as food producers and fertilizer companies have been working overtime to keep up with the demand for corn, wheat, rice, soybeans and more.
